Ukraine has not confirmed its attendance at CIS diplomats' meeting in Minsk

MINSK. March 14 (Interfax) - A Minsk meeting of deputy foreign ministers from CIS member states to discuss the ongoing situation in Ukraine remains cancelled.

"As of 9:30 a.m. Minsk time, the CIS Executive Committee did not have any official confirmation of the Ukrainian side's presence at the planned session," a CIS Executive Committee spokesman told Interfax on Friday.

"The Executive Committee received a note from the Russian Foreign Ministry saying that the Russian side views holding such a session in the absence of Ukraine's deputy foreign minister as unadvisable," he said.
