Russia says intl group should help collect illegal weapons in Ukraine
MOSCOW. March 17 (Interfax) - Moscow calls for collecting illegal weapons and vacating the illegally occupied buildings, streets and squares in Ukraine, the Russian Foreign Ministry said.
A statement posted by the ministry on Monday said Russia might back a proposal to set up an international group for support for Ukraine.
It listed the group's objectives, including "the immediate fulfillment of the commitments made in the Ukrainian settlement agreement of February 21, 2014, regarding the collection of illegal weapons, the liberation of illegally occupied buildings, streets and squares, and the objective investigation of violent incidents that happened in the period from December 2013 through February 2014."
