Gazprom awards 6 bln rubles in contracts to repair gas storage facility, SGM wins half
MOSCOW. March 21 (Interfax) - Gazprom has selected the general contractors for upgrades at the Sovkhoznoye underground gas storage facility in Orenburg Region, handing out contracts worth 5.93 billion rubles with VAT.
St. Petersburg-based LLC Neftegazstroy, which is owned and headed by Oleg Vakorin, has won a contract worth 2.91 billion rubles to do construction and installation work at the compressor facilities, flow lines of four wells, communications, high-voltage lines, amenities, and security systems. The deadline for completing the work is November 2016, Gazprom said.
LLC Gazpromstroyinvest, LLC Stroygazconsulting and LLC Stroygazmontazh (SGM) also bid in the tender for this contract.
SGM, which is controlled by Arkady Rotenberg, won a contract worth 3.017 billion rubles to do construction and installation work on water pipes, sewer systems and flow lines of 33 wells. The deadline for completing the work is November 2017.
Gazpromstroyinvest, Stroygazconsulting and Neftegazstroy also bid for this contract.
Sovkhoznoye, built at a depleted deposit, has design capacity to hold 5 billion cubic meters of gas.
