Russia may continue to import meat from Poland if it meets quality standards - Lavrov
MOSCOW. March 21 (Interfax) - Agricultural product from Poland, including meat, can be imported into Russia if it meets Russia's quality standards, Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said.
"If the meat is fresh, meets the standards our [oversight] agencies set, then there will be no political subtexts in our actions. And we will with pleasure continue to import Polish agricultural product," Lavrov told the press in Moscow on Friday.
