Rogozin asks for Moldova's explanations about possible travel ban on Russian officials

MOSCOW. March 24 (Interfax) - Russian Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Rogozin seeks the Moldovan authorities' comment on local media reports that alleged a possible travel ban on Russian officials subjected to EU sanctions.

"We would like the Moldovan administration to make at least some comment so that we can decide on our relations," the vice-premier wrote on Twitter on Monday.

Rogozin referred to the local media, which had reported that two aides and a special representative of the Russian president and the chairmen of both houses of the Russian parliament who had been subjected to sanctions might be banned from visits to Moldova.
