Over 10,000 mobilized in Ukraine - National Security and Defense Council Secretary
KYIV. March 25 (Interfax) - More than 10,000 citizens have been mobilized in the course of partial mobilization of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, Ukrainian National Security and Defense Council Secretary Andriy Parubiy told a press briefing on Monday.
The Verkhovna Rada approved the partial mobilization decree of the interim president on March 17.
Parubiy said earlier that 20,000 citizens were being recruited for the Ukrainian National Guard and another 20,000 were subject to partial mobilization.
Partial mobilization is underway in all Ukrainian regions and in Kyiv.
It shall be complete in 45 days since the presidential decree took effect.
