Maidan protestors stage picket outside presidential administration entrance

KYIV. March 25 (Interfax) - About 20 representatives from the public organization "Maidan" gathered outside the Ukrainian presidential administration in Kyiv on Tuesday morning to protest the quota-based principle of distributing government jobs.

The activists lined up right in front of the central entrance to the presidential administration building, an Interfax correspondent said. They are holding slogans which read: "Mr. Turchynov, it was not quotas we were standing for in Maidan," "Quota principle - betrayal of Maidan," "Maidan activists - into power," and a European Union flag.

Maidan activists have been trying to nominate their representative in the government.
