Sevastopol to switch to Moscow time on March 30
MOSCOW. March 25 (Interfax) - The Sevastopol city legislature approved the city's switch to the second time zone (Moscow time) at an unscheduled session on Tuesday.
"The deputies have made the decision to switch the city of Sevastopol to the second time zone (Moscow time) before the Russian government issues a resolution to join the federal-status city of Sevastopol to the corresponding time zone, and to move the clocks two hours forward at 2 a.m. on March 30, 2014," the city legislature said on its website.
The deputies also instructed the city authorities to propose a new work schedule for schools, child-care centers, industrial enterprises, and other establishments and organizations of the city.
The Crimean leadership earlier announced that Moscow time would be introduced in the Republic of Crimea from March 30.
