Aerospace Defense Troops could get more S-400 missiles in 2014 - commander

MOSCOW. March 28 (Interfax) - Russia's Aerospace Defense Troops are hoping to receive another set of S-400 missiles before the end of 2014, Aerospace Defense Troops Commander Aleksandr Golovko said.

"The 93rd anti-aircraft missile regiment armed with an S-400 system entered service in the Moscow region on March 17. We shall receive yet another regimental kit with this system by the end of the year," Golovko said on Friday at the president's meeting with newly-appointed and promoted top military officers.

"Preparations for the tests of the Angara rocket and space complex at Plesetsk Cosmodrome are nearing completion," he said.

"Efforts are under way to form military aerospace defense units in Crimea," the commander said.
