Tihipko, Dobkin, Rabinovych registered as presidential candidates in Ukraine
KYIV. March 28 (Interfax) - The Ukrainian Central Elections Commission (CEC) has registered parliamentarian Serhiy Tihipko of the Party of Regions faction, former Kharkiv regional administration head Mykhailo Dobkin, and All-Ukrainian Jewish Congress head Vadym Rabinovych as presidential candidates.
The CEC earlier registered former First Deputy Prosecutor General Renat Kuzmin and former Deputy Prime Minister Yury Boiko as presidential candidates.
The CEC is continuing to consider the registration of five other potential presidential candidates.
The deadline for submitting documents for registration as a presidential candidate is March 30.
The presidential elections are scheduled for May 25.
