Russia decries "ongoing escalation of tension" between two Koreas
MOSCOW. March 31 (Interfax) - Moscow has expressed concern over the "ongoing escalation of tension" on the Korean Peninsula.
"We are concerned about the ongoing escalation of tensions on the Korean Peninsula, which on March 31 manifested itself in an exchange of artillery fire between [North and South Korea] in the area of the so-called Northern Limit Line in the Yellow Sea," Russia's Foreign Ministry said in a statement.
"Another source of anxiety is the mutual toughening of rhetoric, including an announcement about a possible new nuclear test in [North Korea]," it said.
