Russian and Kazakh presidents to meet in April

MOSCOW. April 3 (Interfax) - The Russian and Kazakh presidents plan to meet in Minsk, the capital of Belarus, at the end of April, Kazakh Foreign Minister Yerlan Idrisov said.

"A meeting of our leaders is expected to take place in Minsk at the end of this month. We expect that it will be an important meeting that will pave the way toward a key meeting in Astana at the end of May, when the treaty on the Eurasian Economic Union will be signed and formalized," Idrisov said at a press conference after talks with Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov in Moscow on Thursday.
