Ukraine hopes to upgrade GTS with Europe, U.S. - Yatseniuk

KYIV. April 5 (Interfax) - Ukraine's Prime Minister Arseniy Yatseniuk has said that Kyiv is awaiting a reply from its partners in the European Union and the United States regarding the modernization of the Ukrainian gas transport system (GTS).

"We consider it necessary to contemplate a joint modernization and joint operation of the Ukrainian gas transport system by the EU member states and U.S. investors. We are expecting a reply from our partners," he said while opening a Cabinet meeting on Saturday.
