Gazprom Energoholding not holding talks with Moscow gov't on purchasing Mosenergo stake
MOSCOW. April 8 (Interfax) - LLC Gazprom Energoholding (GEH) is not holding talks with the government of Moscow concerning the purchase of stake in OJSC Mosenergo , GEH CEO Denis Fyodorov told journalists.
"No such talks exist today," he said.
The government of Moscow has said the stake could be sold. In September, GEH purchased almost 90% of OJSC Moscow Integrated Power Company (MOEK) for 98.6 billion rubles.
OJSC Mosenergo is the largest territorial generating company in Russia with installed capacity of 12.3 GW. GEH owns 53.5% of the company, while the Moscow government owns 26.4% and Inter RAO UES 5%.
