Georgian and Russian officials may meet next week - Zurab Abashidze
TBILISI. April 10 (Interfax) - The Georgian prime minister's envoy Zurab Abashidze and Russian Deputy Prime Minister Grigory Karasin may hold their next meeting as part of the two sides' informal dialogue next week.
Abashidze told reporters on Thursday that the planned meeting would address key topics on the agenda, including economic, trade and business relations, as well as a number of humanitarian issues "that require prompt solutions."
"I believe this meeting will be useful and timely," the Georgian official said.
A large number of "such issues" have accumulated since the last meeting, he said.
Hopefully, the upcoming meeting will be successful and will help sort out many issues, Abashidze said.
