Right Sector activists held in Russia deported to Ukraine - FSB
MOSCOW. April 10 (Interfax) - Three activists from Ukraine's Right Sector who confessed to having connections to the Ukrainian Security Service were deported from Russian territory on Wednesday, the press service of the Rostov region branch of the Russian Federal Security Service (FSB) reported.
"Vitaliy Kryvosheev, Artem Holovko and Kyrylo Pylypenko were notified of their ban on entering Russian territory from two to five years and were deported from Russia," the press service said.
Two of the three were detained in Russia's Rostov region and the third Right Sector activist in Russia's internal republic of Kalmykia.
Kryvosheev, Holovko and Pylypenko confessed to receiving instructions from the Ukrainian Security Service to do photo surveillance of the disposition and movements of Russian troops in regions bordering Ukraine, the press service said.
The three were also tasked to examine socio-political situations and to establish contacts with radicals in Russia. They passed the gathered information to the Ukrainian Security Service via sms and the Internet.
Kryvosheev, Holovko and Pylypenko were caught before they did any damage to Russia's security.
It was reported earlier that 25 Ukrainians, including three Right Sector activists, were detained in Russia on suspicion of preparing acts of sabotage on Russian territory. The acts of sabotage were to be staged in the Rostov, Volgograd, Tver, Oryol, Belgorod regions and Russia's internal republics of Kalmykia and Tatarstan on March 14-16.
