Anti-maidan activists holding Donetsk region's administration building say Kyiv administration has agreed to hold referendum

KYIV. April 11 (Interfax) - Representatives of the new Ukrainian administration have promised to hold a referendum, Denis Pushilin, a representative of the anti-Maidan activists who have taken over the building of the Donetsk region's administration, said.

"Yes, they have agreed to this [a referendum]. However, I don't know if they really will fulfill all their promises. But they are ready for it, they are ready to take some steps," Pushilin told a press conference.

Pushilin, who calls himself a member of the provisional government of the Donetsk People's Republic, also announced the creation of "the people's army of the Donetsk People's Republic," adding that its commander is Ihor Kinzakov.
