SBU officer killed, 5 wounded in operation in Sloviansk - Ukraine minister
MOSCOW. April 13 (Interfax) - Ukrainian Interior Minister Arsen Avakov reports that an officer of the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) was killed in the law enforcers' effort in Sloviansk.
"Sloviansk. Killed and wounded on both sides. On our side - an SBU officer. Head of the ATC [Antiterrorist Center] of SBU and four more wounded," he posted on his Facebook page.
He admitted losses among opponents to the incumbent authorities in Kyiv.
Previously a commander of a self-defense unit Vyacheslav Rudenko told Russia 24 TV channel that on Sunday morning fire was opened from armored personnel vehicles at people in the village of Semyonovka near Sloviansk as a result of which a civilian was wounded.
