Ukraine's presidential candidate Dobkin warns against further escalation of violence

KYIV. April 14 (Interfax) - Mykhailo Dobkin, a presidential candidate from the Party of Regions, believes that radical tendencies in the regions of Ukraine will increase if the country's administration does not stabilize the situation in the near future.

"Radical tendencies on both sides of the Dnieper will only increase if the current administration does not bring order to the situation in the nearest future. If there is a threat to people's life and health now, the next step will probably be the use of weapons," Dobkin said during a meeting with voters in Krivoi Rog.

Dobkin said such actions will set Ukraine back "economically, mentally and in terms of universal values."

"Furthermore we can join the list of the countries, which the foreign ministers of various countries prohibit their citizens from traveling to. It will be a source of shame and humiliation for Ukraine," he said.
