Situation in Odessa under control, very complicated in east - official

KYIV. April 16 (Interfax) - Ukraine's First Deputy Prime Minister Vitaliy Yarema has said the situation in Odessa is quiet and under control.

"There are calls there but so far the situation is under control, no public order violations," he told reporters in Kyiv on Wednesday.

At the same time, the situation is very complicated in the country's east, in towns where Euromaidan opponents are active, especially in Donetsk, he said.
