Western recognition of Ukrainian authorities "hypocrisy fair" - Peskov
MOSCOW. April 18 (Interfax) - The recognition by the West of the current authorities in Ukraine after the coup is a hypocrisy fair, Russian President's Press Secretary Dmitry Peskov said.
"What happened in Ukraine is a hypocrisy fair. The military coup was immediately recognized as legitimate, recognized by the EU and the U.S. The international law has not seen greater hypocrisy," Peskov said on the Sunday Night with Vladimir Solovyov program.
Russia is a country seeking dialogue with all countries and keen on mutually profitable cooperation, he said.
"But Russia has a certain red line beyond which it cannot go, and which the Russian president cannot cross," Peskov said.
