French FM: Europe should leave possibility of dialogue with Russia open
TBILISI. April 24 (Interfax) - The European Union should keep to the position of firmness and dialogue as regards Russia's actions in the Ukrainian crisis, French Foreign Minister Laurent Fabius said.
There have been two stages of sanctions and the third stage will begin unless the European messages are heard, he said at a joint press briefing with the Georgian and German foreign ministers in Tbilisi on Thursday. The minister underscored they did not want a war in Ukraine and should leave the possibility of a dialogue with Russia open.
