Court extends house arrest of Navalny for six months
MOSCOW. April 24 (Interfax) - Moscow's Zamoskvoretsky court extended the house arrest of opposition activist Alexei Navalny over the fraud case with the Yves Rocher company on Thursday.
Upon returning from her chamber where the request in regards to pre-trial restrictions of the prosecutor's office and Federal Penitentiary Service was considered, Judge Yelena Korobchenko ruled to dismiss it.
The prosecutor's office and Federal Penitentiary Service have asked to place Navalny under arrest.
