Police city department seized in Konstantynovka, Donetsk region - television

KYIV. April 28 (Interfax) - A group of unknown gunmen has seized a police department in Konstantynovka, Donetsk region, Television News Service (TSN) reported on Monday.

According to TSN, the gunmen have entered the building and are preventing staff from accessing their workplaces. They are not making any demands.

According to the local media, armed people have been seen near the Konstantynovka executive committee and the staff are not entering the building for that reason.

This information has not been officially confirmed by relevant authorities.

Konstantynovka is a regional center in the Donetsk region. It is located in the northern part of the region, some sixty kilometers from Donetsk. It has a population of some 100,000 people.
