U.S. sanctions will not remain unanswered - Ryabkov

MOSCOW. April 28 (Interfax) - The U.S. sanctions against Russia will not remain unanswered and the response will be painful for Washington, said Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov.

"We will respond, of course. We have never been concealing that we have capabilities for such a response at our disposal, as well as a set of measures, which is rather large, that will be used," he told Interfax on Monday in remarks about White House Spokesman Jay Carney's statement on the introduction of sanctions against Russia.
