Kazakh telecom satellite put into orbit

MOSCOW. April 28 (Interfax-AVN) - The Proton-M carrier rocket, launched from the Baikonur cosmodrome on Monday, has put the Kazakh telecommunications satellite, KazSat-3, into target orbit, the Khrunichev state space research and production center's spokesman Alexander Bobrenyov told Interfax-AVN.

"KazSat-3 successfully separated from the Briz-M upper stage rocket at 5:57 p.m. Moscow time," he said.
