ASTANA. April 29 (Interfax) - Oil production at Kazakhstan's Kashagan field might resume in the second half of 2015, Economy and Budget Planning Minister Yerbolat Dosayev said.

"Oil production is the issue of the next year. This year we do not expect the commercial production to restart. It will be either in the second half or the end of next year," he said at briefing on Tuesday in Astana.

On Monday, North Caspian Operating Company (NCOC) said it was developing a project for replacement of all oil and gas pipelines at Kashagan field and did not expect the production to resume in 2014.
