Explosions reportedly occur at military fuel storage facility in Trans-Baikal region - source
MOSCOW. April 29 (Interfax) - The sound of three explosions was heard at a military warehouse storing fuel and lubricants in the Trans-Baikal Region. The emergency poses no threat to local residents, a source in the regional emergency services told Interfax.
"The sound of explosions was heard at a fuel and lubricant warehouse, not an arms depot. The incident posses no threat to the population of nearby localities," he said.
No information is available about casualties.
A law enforcement source told Interfax that the explosions occurred at a military storage facility in the Karym district of the Trans-Baikal Territory.
