Unknown individuals set fire to PrivatBank office in Mykolayiv
KYIV. May 5 (Interfax) - Unknown individuals set fire to the first floor of the office of PrivatBank in Mykolayiv in the early hours of Monday, the city portal NikVesti has reported.
The arson occurred around 3:45 a.m. local time.
According to the paper, the fire destroyed an ATM, doors, a sign, and a corridor and damaged the balcony of an apartment on the second floor of the building located above the office.
A PrivatBank office in Mariupol burned in the early hours of May 4. Several attempts to set fire and destroy the banks' ATMs were registered in the Donetsk region in late April.
On May 5, PrivatBank suspended the operation of its offices in the Donetsk and Luhansk regions due to safety threats to its staff and clients.
