RZD expecting May cargo loading to fall 1%
ASTANA. May 6 (Interfax) - Russian Railways (RZD) is planning a 1% year-on-year reduction in cargo loading in May, a company manager said.
[We're expecting a drop of] 1%," Yelena Kunayeva, head of the company's Corporate Transportation Service Center, told reporters on the sidelines of a meeting of the CIS Rail Transport Council in Astana.
Cargo loading on Russia's railways fell 3.5% year-on-year in May 2013 to 3.4 million tonnes.
