German, Russian foreign ministers meeting in Vienna
VIENNA. May 6 (Interfax) - Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov is meeting with his German counterpart Frank-Walter Steinmeier at the Vienna international airport.
The Austrian capital hosted the 124th session of the Council of Europe Committee of Ministers on Monday and Tuesday.
Lavrov had said earlier that he would meet with Steinmeier on Tuesday and that OSCE Chairperson-in-Office and President Didier Burkhalter of Switzerland would visit Russia on Wednesday.
"We will discuss how we can help start a nationwide dialogue [in Ukraine]. Because we have already done what could have been done, using the trendy term, by the international community, namely, coordinated the framework within which we see a way out of the Ukraine crisis, and this is primarily the April 17 statement," Lavrov told journalists following the Council of Europe Committee of Ministers session on Tuesday.
