Aeroflot stops Donetsk/Kharkiv flight ticket booking after May 12

MOSCOW. May 8 (Interfax) - Aeroflot - Russian Airlines has halted Donetsk and Kharkiv flight ticket booking for the period after May 12, the Transport Clearing Chamber (TCC) website reports.

"Flights have been cancelled through May 12, 2014 and ticket booking is halted after that date. If the Ukrainian authorities extend the ban, the booking service will inform [the public] about the cancellation of flights after May 12, 2014," the report runs.

The Ukrainian authorities imposed a unilateral ban on Donetsk and Kharkiv flights of Russian airlines on May 2. Russia chose not to take symmetric measures and kept its airspace open to Ukrainian airlines.
