Lietuvos Dujos, Gazprom agree gas price cut
VILNIUS. May 8 (Interfax) - Lithuanian gas concern Lietuvos Dujos has reached agreement with Russian Gazprom on a "significant reduction" in the price it pays for gas.
"This agreement finalized long-running and complex negotiations between Lietuvos Dujos and Gazprom," Lietuvos Dujos said in a notification published on the website of the Nasdaq Omx stock exchange in Vilnius.
The notification does not specify the size of the price cut.
"The representatives of both companies, in active cooperation with the boards of the companies and with due consideration of the interests of the shareholders and customers of Lietuvos Dujos, managed to find mutually beneficial solutions that will allow the reduction of natural gas prices for the customers of Lietuvos Dujos in the nearest future," it says.
