Medvedev: Russian pharmaceutical market growing fast, to top 1 trln rubles soon

ST. PETERSBURG. May 16 (Interfax) - Russia's market in pharmaceutical products is growing fast and will top 1 trillion rubles within a few years, Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev said.

"In 2013 the Russian pharmaceutical market grew practically 8% to over 820 billion rubles. It is forecast to top 1 trillion rubles in the next few years, in a comparatively short time-frame," Medvedev said on Friday at a meeting of the Presidential Council on Economic Modernization and Innovative Development.
