Russia, China to sign agreements for developing new coal, oil fields
MOSCOW/SHANGHAI. May 19 (Interfax) - More than 30 bilateral intergovernmental, interagency and corporate documents are planned to be signed during Russian President Vladimir Putin's visit to China on May 20, according to official materials about the visit.
Among these documents are "large-scale projects for the development of new coal and oil fields, [and] for organizing the production of automobiles, and other [products]."
Following the talks, which will take place between Putin and Chinese President Xi Jinping, a joint statement will issued on a new stage of relations, comprehensive partnership and strategic cooperation.
