Prince Charles did not say offensive things about Putin - Peskov

ST. PETERSBURG. May 23 (Interfax) - Russian Presidential Press Secretary Dmitry Peskov has said he does not believe that Prince Charles could make an offensive remark about Vladimir Putin, otherwise it would be "historical ignorance."

"Personally, I can't believe that Prince Charles could have said that, for such a remark can be interpreted as historical ignorance. Otherwise royalty could not allow such a remark to be made," Peskov said, responding to a question posed by Interfax on the margins of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum on Friday.
