Putin's pledge to respect Ukrainian people's choice remains unchanged - Peskov
MOSCOW. May 26 (Interfax) - Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov again said, in remarks about Sunday's presidential polls in Ukraine, that Moscow respects the choice of the Ukrainian people.
"This position was earlier formulated by the president and it remains unchanged. No new elements have emerged so far," Peskov told Interfax on Monday.
President Vladimir Putin said at the end of last week that Russia would respect the outcome of the presidential elections in Ukraine.
