MOSCOW. May 27 (Interfax) - Two Kamov Ka-32 helicopters of the Russian Emergency Situations Ministry keep monitoring flood conditions in Serbia, ministry spokesman Alexander Drobyshevsky told reporters.

"We keep in Serbia two Ka-32 helicopters, which came there from Moscow to monitor the flood conditions and to transport humanitarian supplies to hard-to-access areas," he said.

The helicopters transported nine tonnes of prime necessities over the past day.

Ministry rescuers deployed in Serbia on May 16 to help clean up the flood aftermath and to evacuate people from inundated areas finalized their mission on Monday.
