Ukrainian military property withdrawn from Crimea worth over $1 bln - Rada press office
KYIV. May 27 (Interfax) - The withdrawal of Ukrainian equipment, arms and military property from Crimea continues, Ukraine's Verkhovna Rada posted a statement on its website on Tuesday.
"The amount of arms and military equipment moved from Crimea is over 2,000 units. In particular, 75 units of aviation equipment, 32 ships, 1,341 vehicles, 120 rockets and artillery arms, 121 armored vehicles, 201 communications equipment, 302 units of combat support, and 400 pieces of front line equipment," the Rada press office said.
Around 5,000 people arrived to the mainland from Crimea on May 27 and around 4,000 of them are servicemen. At the same time, the withdrawal National Guard equipment and military property of border guards is being carried out.
"The cost of property and military equipment already withdrawn exceeds $1 billion," the statement said.
