Russian leader says there is global interest in Eurasian Economic Union
ASTANA. May 29 (Interfax) - Russian President Vladimir Putin has said that key global economies have displayed their interest in the Eurasian Economic Union.
"It is no accident that major world economic players have already started to show their interest, very direct and immediate, in this association. Wherever I go and whoever I speak to, their question is: how can they establish relations with the fledgling Eurasian union?" Putin said in Astana on Thursday, after Russia, Belarus and Kazakhstan signed the Eurasian Economic Union Treaty.
