NATO not naming possible date for Russia-NATO Council meeting

BRUSSELS. May 30 (Interfax) - NATO has confirmed that consultations concerning a possible meeting of the Russia-NATO Council continue, but has refused so far to name any potential date for such an event.

Consultations on a possible date for a Russia-NATO Council session continue, a source in the alliance's central office told Interfax in Brussels on Friday, without providing further details.

The source offered his comments after being asked when the Russia-NATO Council could meet again after a certain break caused by the "cooling-off period" in relations between Russia and the alliance due to the Ukrainian crisis.
