Bank Saint Petersburg not planning to borrow on debt market soon
MOSCOW. June 3 (Interfax) - Bank Saint Petersburg is not planning to borrow on the debt market in the near future, Deputy CEO Konstantin Balandin said during a conference call on Tuesday.
"If we see an attractive opportunity for borrowing on the market, why not? But the market today, as we know, does not look sufficiently good or appealing for borrowing. Not the Russian or the European market. Neither of them," Balandin said.
The bank would consider placement of securities in the event the market is supported by other Russian debt deals, including by banks, he said.
