Epam Systems buys U.S. GGA Software Service
MOSCOW. June 9 (Interfax) - Software engineering group Epam has acquired U.S. GGA Software Services, which provides IT services on the pharmaceutical market, Epam said in a statement.
The acquisition creates significant growth potential given GGA's algorithm development, mathematical modeling, and sophisticated content database development capabilities, EPAM President and CEO Arkadiy Dobkin said in the statement. The developments can also be applied in the sectors where Epam operates, including financial services, business information and media, and retail consumer services, he said.
Financial details of the deal were not disclosed.
