Embassy in Delhi has data on two Russians killed, one missing in car accident
MOSCOW. June 10 (Interfax) - The preliminary data made available to the Russian Embassy in New-Delhi suggest that two Russians have been killed as a result of a road accident in India.
"The data is still being clarified. Local police shared the following preliminary information with the embassy: two Russians were killed, one went missing, and about 12 people were injured," spokeswoman for the Russian Embassy to India Tatyana Kopylova told Interfax on Tuesday.
The India Today website earlier reported, citing the police in the Indian state of Uttarakhand, that 13 Russian tourists died when the bus they were traveling in fell into the Bhagirathi River. Twelve others were injured. One remains unaccounted for.
