RT: Reporters come under fire near Slovyansk

MOSCOW. June 16 (Interfax) - A number of reporters have come under fire in the Vostochny suburb of Slovyansk, says a report posted on the Russia Today website.

"A press team came under fire in a suburb of Slovyansk. The Vostochny neighborhood where the incident happened is located on the firing line between the militia and the Ukrainian army positions. The reporters went there to verify claims that the artillery fire of Ukrainian servicemen had destroyed several homes," the report runs.

The journalists said they were attacked by a sniper. They got into a car of the Donetsk People's Republic but fire was opened on that car, as well.
