Central Bank may offer banks up to 7 trillion rubles in refinancing in 2014
MOSCOW. June 16 (Interfax) - The Central Bank of Russia has raised its forecast for the volume of refinancing it offers banks in 2014 to 7 trillion rubles from 5 trillion rubles previously, Central Bank Chairman Elvira Nabiullina said at a press conference on Monday.
"The initial forecast for the volume of liquidity the Central Bank was intending to present the banking sector was around 5 trillion rubles at the end of the year. We have already reached this figure and increased our forecast for providing liquidity to around 7 trillion rubles," she said.
