Kadyrov insists that Ukraine's Deshchytsya resign

MOSCOW. June 16 (Interfax) - The head of administration of Chechnya, Ramzan Kadyrov, on Monday insisted that acting Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andriy Deshchytsya resign immediately because of an insult hurled at the Russian leadership during a demonstration outside the Russian Embassy in Kyiv on Saturday.

"Deshchytsya must immediately tender his resignation. He has no other option," Kadyrov wrote on Instagram.

The demonstration outside the embassy and the attack on the diplomatic mission's building during it "make clear that people have come to power in Kyiv who don't have a clue about the meaning of politics, diplomacy, ethics, or principles of mutual respect between the politicians of various countries that are recognized by the world community," Kadyrov said.

"Not even officials in countries that are at war with each other go as far as using such unprintable language," he said. "Deshchytsya has insulted the entire Russian people, the entire Great Russia. He will have to answer for this."
