O2 Development combining assets in O2 Group holding
ST. PETERSBURG. June 19 (Interfax) - Construction company O2 Development is combining real estate and construction assets in the O2 Group holding, the company's press service said in a statement.
"Combining all assets in the fields of real estate and construction into a single holding will allow for the developer to form a complete cycle - from design and production of [concrete goods] to the construction and sale of finished [real estate]," the statement says.
Creating the O2 Group should help the enterprise's owners save on financial and legal support for the business, as well as aid in raising operational efficiency.
The new company is comprised of five independent divisions, including O2 Development itself, which "will be the group's semantic element;" as well as O2 Proektirovaniye, a design bureau; O2 Nedvizhimost, a real estate agency; in-house manufacturing and Stroi-Resource, a general contractor. In addition, each of the holding's five divisions will remain a separate entity.
The holding is being headed by Victor Osokin, who is also the chairman of O2 Development's board of directors and owns the holding on equal terms with his business partner, Alexei Dmitriyev, the press release says.
