Donetsk People's Republic wants to create its own tribunal
MOSCOW. June 19 (Interfax) - The self-defense forces of the self-proclaimed Donetsk People's Republic are going to form their own tribunal, Vladimir Rogov, leader of the Donbas movement Slavic Guard, told Interfax on Thursday.
"We plan to create a tribunal," Rogov said, adding that he is hoping that "the people who have taken power in Kyiv and let bloodshed happen" can be prosecuted.
Rogov said the tribunal's decisions will be based on the republic's Criminal Code, on which the republic is now working.
"We plant to elect judges from people who have degrees in law. It will by no means be lynching, it will be a jury," Rogov said.
