Russian grain reserves up 4.3% on June 1 - Rosstat

MOSCOW. June 19 (Interfax) - Russian grain reserves at agricultural, procurement and processing organizations in Russia totaled 11.4 million tonnes as of June 1, 2014, which is 4.3%, or 500,000 tonnes, more than on June 1, 2013, the Federal State Statistics Service (Rosstat) reported on Thursday.

Agricultural organizations had grain reserves of 5.3 million tonnes, which is 17.9%, or 800,000 tonnes, more than a year before. Procurement and processing organizations had 6.1 million tonnes of grain reserves, down 5.2%, or 300,000 tonnes.
